Rosemary was employed by Northwestern Bell and retired in 1989.

Patricia Elaine Turco McEntee, age 68, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, passed July 16, 2017.
Patricia worked at Northwestern Bell for twenty eight years before retiring in 1993.

Lois S. Helewski, age 94, of Duluth, Minnesota, passed away on July 24, 2017.
Lois had a long and fulfilling career with AT&T. She was a proud union member of the Communications Workers of America and the Telephone Pioneers.

Richard “Dick” Weig, age 87, of Rapid City and previously of Philip, South Dakota, passed away July 19th 2017.
Dick was drafted into the Army during the Korean Conflict, he served our country until he was severely injured, honorably discharged and was awarded the Purple Heart for his sacrifice. After his service, he made his home in Rapid City where he worked for Northwestern Bell until 1984, and then with AT&T until his retirement.

Warren Charles “Mog” Mogensen, age 82, of Rapid City, South Dakota, passed away July 26, 2017.
After graduating high school in Salix, Mog immediately went to work for Northwestern Bell as a lineman. Shortly after, he transferred to the Black Hills area to help restore telephone service after a major snowstorm, and he stayed in Rapid City. After serving in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict for two years, Mog returned to work for Northwestern Bell as a construction supervisor until he retired after 39 years. Marion “Swede” Hjelmeng, age 90, of Elkader, Iowa, passed away June 30, 2017.
Swede was employed by Northwestern Bell Telephone Company for 37 years. He then worked for AT & T for one year, retiring in 1984. Following his retirement, he was self-employed with his own telephone service company until April 1, 2003.
