Mildred Grace Kirschenmann, age 100, of Rapid City, South Dakota, passed away April 27, 2022.
After graduating, she was interviewed by the manager of Northwestern Bell Telephone Co. in Rapid City and was employed for two years. She married H. E. “Bert” Kirschenmann on April 7, 1943. Of this union, one son was born, Bruce Eugene. Millie and Bruce traveled with Bert during WWII whenever possible. They returned to Rapid City after his discharge in December 1945. In 1947, she returned to work for the Bell Company until her retirement in 1981 – a total of 36 ½ years. Mille was a member of the CenturyLink Retirees Association (formerly U S West Retirees)
