Many of us used to receive emailed notices that an employee or retiree had passed away directly from phone company insiders.  That practice ended when it proved burdensome, and we were directed to the CenturyLink Blog for notices.  Unfortunately, the CenturyLink Blog is an internal site, and only accessible to employees from within the company, leaving many of us out of the loop.

This site, Twisted Pair News, is an attempt to replace the formerly emailed notices using a method that is easy use and maintain.  Your use and help with the notices will be the proof of its value and the judge of its longevity.
