Merrill “Mike” Allen Heggestuen, age 91, of Detroit Lakes, MN, previously of Fargo, ND, passed away November 28, 2022.
Mike worked for Bell Telephone and was very active and served as a steward in the Communications Workers of America union for many years before retiring.

Guenther Moesler, age 82, of Northfield, Minnesota, passed away October 24, 2022.
Guenther began his civilian career with Northwestern Bell in North Dakota. Each career climb took him to a bit larger community in the state, ending up in Bismarck with his growing family. During the 17 years living in Bismarck, he worked his way up to project management with AT&T. He transferred to Minneapolis, retiring in 1989 from AT&T

Susan Rae Tooley, age 75, of Centennial, Colorado and previously of Dickinson, North Dakota, passed away September 23, 2022.
Sue started working for Northwest Bell in 1966 as a telephone operator in Dickinson, ND. later transferring to Grand Junction, CO. After two years, they moved to the Denver, CO area, where she resided until the present. She evolved with the company through many name changes and promotions, retiring from Avaya in 2002 at age 55.

Bruce started his career as a telephone lineman and went on to work for Bell Telephone/USWest/QWEST for 32 years.

Gary Hubbardage 85 of Grand Forks, ND, passed away September 2, 2022.
Gary started working at Northwestern Bell Telephone company in 1957. He held various positions over his career and lived in many ND towns. He began as a lineman, an installer, manager, engineer, supervised many installation and construction crews over his career. He retired in 1995 after almost 38 years of service. Gary was president of the ND Chapter of Telephone Pioneers for many years, and a Life Member president of Lake Agassiz Telephone Pioneers. He was also was a member of the CenturyLink Retirees. Dale Kenneth Kolrud, age 91, of Bismarck, ND, passed away August 6, 2022.
Dale went to work for Northwestern Bell in 1952 in Valley City. His telephone career was spent in Rugby, Grand Forks, Jamestown and many small rural communities across the state. His positions included lineman, splicer, combination technician and installer-repairman. After a long career in telecommunications, Dale retired in 1990 with 38 years of service.
