Why do I sometimes see advertisements on the blog posts?

Twisted Pair News is hosted by WordPress and uses their software for free.  In exchange they have access to place ads on the Twisted Pair News blog site.

There is an option to pay WordPress to eliminate the ads, but then I would be forced to run ads to pay for the “no ads” option, which is more work for me, and the same outcome for you.  So the options are to study the ads intently and buy as much as possible from them, ignore them as I do, or use a web browser with an “Ad Block” utility.  Your choice. 🙂
